Cúpla Focail

I am pleasantly surprised with how easy it is to pick up the cupla focail and get back into using Gaeilge. I am not fluent in Irish but I enjoy using the odd phrase. I find a great way to revise is to go through your child’s Irish homework.

Through this website I would like to do what I can to make the cupla focail of Gaeilge a normal part of our everyday language.

Please find listed a number of useful everyday phrases that if used will go a big way in getting back into using Gaeilge.

Gaeilge would also be helped if mobile phone providers offered an option to use their voicemail services through Gaeilge or if offices were encouraged to use Irish sign offs in their letters.
